Get Active Challenges are online active campaigns for companies, charities and individuals that centre around physical and mental well being, team engagement and charity fundraising through physical activities.
You can log your progress on our website. Make sure you are logged in. If you aren’t, please login here. You can log progress in two places:
- Go to My Account and click the “Log Progress” button next to the challenge.
- Go to the Progress page and click the “Log Progress” button under the chart.
After logging your progress the challenge totals and leaderboards will update. Logging your progress is optional. Collectively we are aiming to reach a goal so we encourage you to log your progress to help us achieve and beat the target!
Yes – absolutely. It is essential that we all follow the government rules. The challenge is for us to all independently do whatever exercise we can in/from our homes, and to collectively track our efforts. As a community we can do something fantastic for our local hospitals and NHS staff, while following the rules. Each of us can play a part.
The primary unit for the challenge is Miles.
- 1 Mile = 1.609km
- 1 Mile = 2,000 Steps
- 1 Mile = 1,609 Metres
- 1 km = 10 Mins Workout / Home Exercise
- Your profile page will be disabled from public viewing.
- Your name will show as Anonymous in the leaderboards.
To submit evidence as an individual and participate in our leaderboards you must go through the signup process to create a unique account with a unique email address. Therefore, if you are a parent wanting to enter with your child, you will first need to create one account and make payment, followed by another account and another payment.
You can, if you wish, choose to use a name like “Runseries Family” to collectively log progress in your household each day. Please add a £12 donation per family member in the optional donations box during signup, then email us to let us know your family entry requires multiple medals. Please include the name of each participant in your email.
The NHS SASH challenge is set to run until the end of June 2020.

COVID-19 NHS East Surrey and Sussex Get Active Challenge
Your donations will be used right here at East Surrey Hospital, and Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust to help staff go above and beyond in the coming weeks and months.
With your help we will create new staff rest areas in the hospital, improve staff facilities, directly support their ideas, and we will build a small budget to help SASH NHS Trust staff go for social/thank you events once the coming period of social isolation has passed – for more information visit www.sashcharity.org
