“Event” means a challenge hosted on the website www.getactivechallenges.com whereby any kind of physical activity is undertaken by you, including but not limited to walking, running, step counting, cycling, swimming, gym and home workouts, gym or online classes, and other activities at a time and location chosen by the participant.

“Event Organiser” means Get Active Challenges Ltd.

“Online Registration” means the online registration process that all participants are required to complete prior to participation in the Event. Online Registration is hosted by Get Active Challenges Ltd who securely store your Personal Information.

“Participant” and “you” refer to the named person from the Online Registration.

“Personal Information” referred to in this policy can include any information that can be used to identify you: your name, email address, postal address, telephone numbers, date of birth, gender, debit or credit card details, and all other information you supply to us when you register or one of our events.

Any third party websites you access via any links provided, for your convenience, on our website might use your data differently and you should check their Privacy Policies. We do not accept responsibility for the actions or privacy policies of third parties or their websites.

· Club/Company/Organisation

After you place an order on our website your payment will be securely processed by Stripe, a third party payment processor who collect, use and process your payment information in accordance with their privacy policy which you can read here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy

Personal Information collected as part of Online Registration is required by the Event Organiser in order to administer and organise the Event. We will only use your Personal Information for the purposes for which we collected it. We may, however, use and share anonymised data for our own statistical purposes.

By participating in a Get Active Challenge and agreeing to our Terms and Conditions you accept that we will share your personal details with the Charity or Charities you have chosen to support so that they can provide you with fundraising support and advice and contact you for marketing purposes via email and/or post. You can unsubscribe at any time.

If you have given us express opted-in permission to share your details with the official charity/charities for the event, then we will share that personal information with them. You can opt out at any time by contacting the official charity/charities directly. Otherwise we will not disclose your Personal Information with a third party unless we are obliged to do so by law.


We will only communicate with you about future Get Active Challenge events, special offers and promotions if you have positively opted in to receive these emails during your registration by accepting our Participant Terms & Conditions. You can request that we stop sending you communications at any time by simply clicking “unsubscribe” on any email we have sent you.

Please note that even if you opt out of general communications we will use your Personal Information to send you information about the Event, including any important notices and instructions.

In accordance with your rights you may ask the Event Organiser to provide a copy of all your Personal Information by contacting us in writing at Get Active Challenges, with a copy of all the data held concerning you. We will not charge a fee to provide you with the Personal Information that we have relating to you, however, we reserve the right to charge a fee if the request being made is deemed excessive, unfounded or repetitive. In addition to the above you have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office, however we would appreciate the opportunity to find a resolution with you directly, so please do contact us first.
